Sewing Machinist

Senior Salmon are working with a local Manufacturer and we are looking for Sewing Machinists to join their established team in their modern production facility in Chesterfield

As a Sewing Machinist you will mark and cut various fabrics and sew these to patterns using lockstitch and lockstitch machines.

Duties will include:

• Operate Lockstitch, twin needle and overlock sewing machines
• Manual and Mechanical fabric cutting / Cutting basic patterns
• Cleaning of equipment
• Organisation of Materials
• To ensure work area and environment is kept clean, tidy and organised.
